| In 2006, the AIDS Committee, in partnership with members of the Soshanguve Mission Churches, expanded their services through the opening of the Ekukhuseleni Tshireletso Hospice that is now staffed to serve very sick AIDS and tuberculoses patients. Ekukhuseleni Tshireletso means place of safety. The building for this hospice was a former maternity clinic that was donated, and fully renovated. The hospice opened its doors in July 2006 and since that date has been staffed to serve patients very ill due to AIDS and tuberculoses. |
