The Pretoria congregation of the Free Reformed Church in South Africa sits fully surrounded by one of the highest concentrations of AIDS sufferers anywhere in the world. In 2000 the Khothatsong AIDS Committee was formed with the goal of bringing Christian based care and support to the victims of AIDS patients.

With the help of local church volunteers the Committee started Home Based Care (HBC) to those suffering with AIDS in the Soshanguve and Winterveld areas.  In 2006 the work was expanded with the opening of a small Hospice in Winterveldt.  More...
