Emergency Relief (September 2007)
CRWRF sent $20,000 in emergency assistance to Peru following the 8.0 magnitude earthquake that hit near Lima, the nation's capital, in August 2007.

An organization called Food for the Hungry International (FHI) that has been active in Peru since 1982 served as the lead agency in emergency response, distributing food and water along with basic medical and shelter supplies. CRWRF, together with CRWRC and MAP International among others, worked in partnership with FHI to bring this much needed relief.
