CRWRF, in partnership with CRWRC and the local organizaton Accion Medica Cristiana (AMC), provided funds for a pilot project to improve food security for the indigenous Miskitos population. The thrust of the project was to initiate dry season agriculture, enabling them to grow crops away from their traditional low lying, flood prone farmlands.
